Order Dynamics/Cookie Policy

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Order Dynamics GmbH uses cookies and comparable client-side storage technologies on the website at orderdynamics.io. This policy complements our Privacy Policy, which contains the full description of how we process personal data.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website may store in your browser when you visit. They are widely used to enable a website to function correctly, to remember your preferences, or to provide aggregate statistics to the website operator. The same legal framework applies to comparable client-side technologies such as the browser's local storage and session storage.

2. Legal basis

Storing information on, and accessing information already stored on, a visitor's device requires the visitor's consent, except where such storage or access is strictly necessary for the operation of the service explicitly requested by the visitor (§ 25 TTDSG, transposing Art. 5 (3) of the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC). Where consent is required, we rely on Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR; for strictly-necessary operations we rely on § 25 (2) TTDSG.

3. Categories of cookies on this website

3.1 Strictly-necessary technical storage

We do not set any persistent cookies on first visit. If the cookie consent banner is dismissed or actioned by the visitor, we store the outcome of that consent decision in the browser's local storage so that the banner is not shown on subsequent visits within the same browser. This storage is strictly necessary to give effect to the visitor's own consent choice and falls under § 25 (2) TTDSG. No consent is required for this storage.

3.2 Analytics, advertising, and tracking

None. We do not deploy Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, Hotjar, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any comparable third-party analytics, behavioural-profiling, or advertising technology on this website. We do not engage in cross-site tracking, remarketing, or audience segmentation. This is a deliberate policy decision: institutional partners are reached through editorial content and direct conversation, not through behavioural advertising.

3.3 Embedded third-party content

This website does not currently embed third-party media (YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, or comparable). Should this change in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and present a consent prompt before activating any such embed.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

You can control and delete cookies and local-storage entries through your browser settings. Documentation is available for most major browsers:

Because we operate no analytics, advertising, or tracking storage, clearing your browser storage has no effect on the data we hold about you — beyond resetting your local consent banner choice.

6. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use, in applicable law, or in supervisory-authority guidance. The current version is always available at this URL together with the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
